Visa-Exempt Entry
Duration of Stay: Up to 90 Days
Duration of Stay: Up to 30 Days
Duration of Stay: Up to 14 Days
Requirements
- A passport with remaining validity of at least six months as of the date of entry...
- A confirmed return air/sea ticket or air/sea ticket and a visa for the next destination, and a confirmed seat reservation for departure flight.
- Not determined by immigration officers at ports of entry in the ROC to be otherwise ineligible.
- Holders of Brunei, Philippines and Thailand passports must have proof of accommodation (hotel) booking, host/sponsor's contact information and sufficient travel funds.
- Brunei, Philippines and Thailand vessel/aircraft crew members or service personnel intending to board to report for duty are ineligible for the visa-exempt entry.

- Within three days prior to arriving in Taiwan, please complete an online immigration arrival card (https://twac.immigration.gov.tw) on the website of the National Immigration Agency.
e-Visa (Ecode System)
For attendees from countries not eligible for visa-exemption, the AOCNR 2027 Secretariat can assist in applying for an e-Visa.
It is a special code provided by the conference organizers that allows you to apply for a visa online without visiting a Taiwan overseas mission.
- Register for the conference and request an "Ecode Request Form" from the Secretariat.
- Once you receive your unique Ecode, visit the Official e-Visa Website.
- Submit your application and pay the fee online.
E-Visa
Foreign nationals participating in international conferences in Taiwan are now eligible for E-visas. The Congress assists qualified participants to apply E-code for E-visa. Please contact the Congress Registration Office.
Nationals of the following countries are eligible for an E-visa when they meet relevant criteria: Bahrain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burkina Faso, Colombia*, Dominica, Ecuador, Kosovo, Kuwait, Mauritius, Montenegro, Oman, Panama, Peru, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Solomon Islands, Türkiye, United Arab Emirates.
Requirements (e-Visa)
- E-visa applicants must possess an ordinary, official, or diplomatic passport with validity of at least six months as of the date of intended entry into Taiwan.
- The application fee is NT$1,600 with bank handling fee of NT$46 paid by credit card, the total is NT$1,646. (Countries exempt from visa fees are: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Colombia, Kiribati, Kosovo, Mauritius, Montenegro, Panama, Peru, Solomon Islands, and Turkey.)
- ROC overseas missions may request that the applicant submit additional documents within a specific timeframe.
- When approved, the applicant will receive a notice to download and print the E-visa. The holder is required to present a paper copy at the immigration checkpoint.

Visitor Visa for Attending Congress
Participants who aren't eligible for visa-empty entry MUST apply for visitor visa in advance.

Completed & signed: On-line Visa Application Form.
Two passport-size photos in color within 6 months.
Valid for 6 months with blank pages (original & photocopy).
Invitation letter & applicant's ID.
US$50 (NTD$1,600) for single entry visa; US$100 (NTD$3,200) for multiple entry visa.
*Note: Applicants can file their applications at local Taiwan Embassies or missions.
